猜一建筑于2023年成立，创始人吴皓天、王赟由美国麻省理工学院（MIT）获得建筑学硕士学位，在家乡苏州开展注重文化在地性与技术实验性的建筑实践。当下实践的复杂性促使我们将建筑理解为与不同利益相关者、不同专业共猜的过程：猜一建筑的创作抵抗任一特定范式，在万千潜在中游弋后于现实中精确坍缩。我们不仅执着于从概念至落地全流程的知识面与细节点，更试图将MIT模式中一以贯之的建筑可持续性、建造经济性与产业创新性实验于中国的乡土，以建筑为支点，挖掘场地全面而长远的发展可能。

Practice on Earth, founded by Haotian Wu and Yun Wang, approaches architecture as a collaborative exploration involving diverse stakeholders and disciplines. We believe that design should resist rigid paradigms, navigating countless possibilities before arriving at a precise realization. We aim to apply MIT’s principles of sustainability, building economics, and industry innovation to China’s context. Through architecture, we seek to unlock comprehensive and long-term development potential for each site.
